Additionaly to being a doctoral student in sociology, I am also working as a scientific assistant at the University of Latvia. My research is related to teacher professional development, shcool leadership and organizational sociology. I am also a member and a volunteer at the Latvian sociology association and I have been a mentor for incoming students at my university.
