Corey’s research and teaching areas include the political geography of Europe and Eurasia, borders and border security, natural resources and energy geopolitics, and Germany. He is currently a member of the Working Group on Climate, Nuclear, and Security Affairs of the Center for Climate and Security in Washington D.C. (https://climateandsecurity.org/climatenuclearsecurity/) Corey holds a Ph.D. in geography from the University of Oregon and a BA in geography (honors) and German from the University of Kansas.
