Jinding currently is a PhD candidate at Carnegie Mellon University (Pittsburgh), and she works as a graduate research assistant at SWARM Lab (Spatiotemporal Workflows and Resilient Management). Her research focus on the intelligent management of civil infrastructures.

Jinding holds a B.A in Project Cost and an M.A in Construction Management, from Chongqing University. She also worked as a research assistant at the City University of Hong Kong, and the University of Adelaide.
