Justin Lesniak

Justin Lesniak is a 2019 Masters of International Affairs Candidate at UC San Diego’s School of Global Policy and Strategy who passionate about understanding economic policy and development issues. During his master’s studies he has focused on international economics and the Latin America region as well as gaining in skills in spatial data analysis and statistics in order to apply these tools to development questions. Prior to coming to GPS Justin worked in at the World Bank in Washington D.C. with the Office of the Chief Economist for Latin America and the Caribbean where, among other things, he co-authored a book on the development challenges specific to small economies such as those in the Caribbean region.
