Fellows Profile

Kanikka Sersia

Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies

Current affiliation: Geneva Graduate Institute

Kanikka is a PhD Candidate (2021-2025) in Anthropology and Sociology at the Geneva Graduate Institute. She holds MPhil and MA degree in Sociology from the Delhi School of Economics. Her academic and professional research experience lies at the interface of labour and technology with current focus on algorithmic management of work in the platform economy. She has contributed towards research on the issues of digitalisation of work and labour policy of gig and platform workers at the International Labour Organization Geneva, Oxford's Fairwork Project at IIIT-B, and V.V. Giri National Labour Institute of India.
