Martina Riina is an anthropologist and pedagogist, currently working in Palermo with a social promotion association, Per Esempio ONLUS, in the marginal neighbourhoods of the city, developing projects for social inclusion and gender equality. She is enrolled in a PhD programme in medical anthropology at the University of Eastern Piedmont, on the relationship between breastfeeding, public health and urban marginality
