Academic achievements, social engagement initiatives:
With no research experience prior to becoming a graduate student in 2013, I have now engaged in a program of research that nears $1.05 million in funded projects with collaborators in 15 nations. My research has produced more than 40 knowledge products (journal articles, book chapters, evaluation reports) and nearly 70 refereed or invited scholarly presentations. I have also taught or co-taught 9 university courses and 25 courses in secondary schools. Most importantly, I am the proud father of 2 brave, inquisitive daughters, who I have the privilege of coaching in ice hockey and softball.
