Academic achievements, social engagement initiatives:
Completed coursework and currently working on dissertation; working on publications; researcher with LERRN; serving as member of executive committee of the Canadian Association of Refugee and Forced Migration Studies (CARFMS), and teaching a course with the BHER Project.
I will be conducting follow-up interviews and focus groups for my PhD research on Somali refugee youth in the Dadaab refugee camps (April to May 2020) .
