Academic Achievements, Social Engagement Initiatives: 
Mühdan Sağlam holds a Bachelor's degree in International Relations (2010) and a Master's degree in the same field (2013). Her master's thesis on the role of Gazprom in Russian energy and foreign policy was published as a book titled Gazprom's Russia (2014). From 2014 to 2017, she held the position of Energy Analyst at Energy Terminal of Andolu News Agency. During the same period, she served as a Research Assistant at Ankara University's Department of International Relations from 2011 to 2017. In 2021, she was awarded a PhD in International Relations from Ankara University, with a dissertation entitled "Russian Oil and Foreign Policy." The case of Rosneft.

Since 2017, Ms. Sağlam has continued her media career as an analyst, columnist, and reporter on energy, the economy, and foreign policy for newspapers including Gazete Duvar, Al-Monitor, and the Middle East Eye. She currently serves as a columnist, energy-economy and foreign policy analyst for Gazete Duvar.
Mühdan Sağlam's primary areas of interest include state-energy company relations, the transformation of the global political economy, Turkey-Russia relations, climate change and the transformation of energy policies. She lives in Ankara, Turkey, with her cat named Sherbet.
