Brief Summary of Support Program Activities:
In the SRG project, we will use a randomized controlled trial to evaluate a novel program that promotoes social inclusion of immigrants and refugees in Sweden. As such, we will assess the causal effect of contact with natives on immigrants' social, economic, and cultural integration. Specifically, we have partners with the largest nongovernmental organization (NGO) of its kind in Sweden, which matches pairs of immigrants and native Swedes for informal meetings. Our main research question is: "What are the effects of introducing a native to an immigrant's social network on their integration outcomes?"
