Received a Sylff fellowship in 1996-1997 at Institute of Political Education “Pedro Arrupe.” He is a founder and a representative of NGO “Groupe Jérémie” that is engaged in promoting human rights and civic education in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and the African Great Lake region. He is also the founder of the Christian-based NGO network RODHECIC and CDCE through which he contributed to the successful monitoring of the presidential and general elections in 2006.
From 2011, he was appointed as the social justice coordinator of Jesuits in Africa and the director of the Jesuit Africa Social Centres Network (JASCNET).
The recipient of the Second Sylff Prize in 2007.
