Current affiliation: Faculty of Social Sciences, Chiang Mai University

I was born in a small town near the Mekong River, in Chiang Khong, Chiang Rai Province, Thailand. I have spent half of my life at Chiang Mai University, from my Bachelor's degree to my doctoral degree. My field of interest deals with topics of ethnicity, Tai/Thai studies, and Mekong sub-region area studies.
