Academic achievements, social engagement initiatives:
1. Conducted teacher-training workshops to train teachers in the art of effective online pedagogy. 2. Published a co-authored research report on online learning in India from Jadavpur University Press. 3.Published articles in international peer-reviewed journals on the writings of Kashmiri Pandits in exile and eco-critical thought.
Sritama Chatterjee completed her B.A and M.A. in English from Presidency University and Jadavpur University in 2014 and 2016 respectively. Her research interests are Postcolonial Studies, Environmental Humanities, Indian Ocean Studies, Novel and Labour History.. She won the Ecole Internationale Fellowship in 2015 from University of Paris, Sorbonne and represented Jadavpur University as an exchange student. Prior to her joining as a SYLFF fellow, she worked as a Research Assistant and subsequently as a Project Assistant in an EU-India collaborative project on online learning titled E-QUAL(http://www.projectequal.net/) with a consortium of partners including Kings College London and University of Bologna, Italy. Her work for the project was focused on understanding how online education emerged in India and its ramifications for the contemporary education system.
