Academic achievements, social engagement initiatives:
I have a Master's degree in Higher Education Studies from the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, and an M.Phil in Science and Technology Studies from Stellenbosch University. I am very involved in promoting cycling as a recreational activity to young people in Cape Town through my organisation, Bicycle Empowerment Network.
