Social Engagement
The main concern of my social engagement is to bring together academic expertise and practical experience. To promote a mutually inspiring exchange between activists and scholarly debates, I organize talks on issues of contemporary societal relevance such as migration, globalization processes, and development politics.
In the context of our Sylff Mikrokolleg on "Forced Migration", my colleagues and me seek to bring forward a dialogue between academia and society. For instance, we prepare workshops for school classes to sensitize young citizens for the causes, dynamics, and governance of forced migration.
