I come from a small town of Mainpuri which lies in Uttar Pradesh which is one of the 28 states of India. I belong to a middle class family. In our family we are six members and I am the youngest. Our family believe in simple living and higher thinking. For the same, all my family members have given special importance to good quality education. Having such values, I did my schooling from convent school which is known for good quality education. After finishing my school education, I chose Jawaharlal Nehru University to pursue my further education. Jawaharlal Nehru University is one of the premier universities in india. I did my graduation and post graduation in Korean Language from the Centre for Korean Studies and did Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Area Studies from the Centre for East Asian Studies, School of International Studies, JNU. Currently, I am pursuing my PhD and writing my phd thesis on gender inequality of South Korea as gender studies have always been my area of interest. After getting my Phd degree, I want to manifest my knowledge in the society by helping women who belong to rural or small towns of India. Apart from academics, I have a interest in photography and reading books.
